Born in Hong Kong, Chris Cheung is an illustrator and artist based in Atlanta, Georgia.

 

Her interest in people and their human complexities was realised when she worked with children with dyslexia in a summer illustration program, where hidden inner worlds were explored through art and conversation. However since young, Chris Cheung was always interested in exploring authenticity and complex emotions. These hidden and quiet parts of human nature are her favourite to explore in illustrations, digging deep into the subconscious and the imagination to express the rich inner world.

 

Chris Cheung's work can be described as exaggerated observations of personalities and emotions with a touch of childlike humour. Her portfolio includes work in editorial illustrations, character design, print advertising and children’s illustration.
